WHO I AM? WHERE I AM?

Hello i'm tony , i was born in France (dpt 92 hauts-de-seine) in march 1967.

I'm French but i had origins from coimbra in the center west part of Portugal.

So i speack very well Portuguese,Spanish,English, and a cup of words from differents linguages...

I discover the radio in the year 1987 just before my army!(a small 11 chanels am on the 27 mhz).

After the army, and after some contacts with ham operators,i bought my first 240 chanels to dicover the long distance...!

And with experience, and more experience i bought my first by-2

for my first walk in cw(continuous wave) in 1991.

And off course , in this time ,the C.B. was also in France and i try to pick up the "dx" on the "eleven meters"...more than 200 countrys beethwen ssb/cw/and sstv. After 5 years,in 1996, i win my HAM CALL SIGN "F8ATS"...

I'm living with my two kids,Tom (1996)and Stacy (1999),in a small and beautifull village with 3500 people living here.a marvelhous place to do radio HF,VHF,UHF,and may be more in a next future.

At sckool i learned mecanic adjustor ,and i was an ex-french marin's in the war french navy in the big boat aircraft-carrier ...porte avions "LE CLEMENCEAU"...and i had visited a cup of beautifull countrys all over the seas....His other name was "the tiger of the seas"

So i never forget this oppurtunity to discover beautifull places and marvellous people.

After the navy , i found a splendid place to build my house and my schack .

So we are about approximatly 30 km in the southern part of the capital PARIS

beethwen the hiway A6 and A10...near the national road (N20).

MY HF TRANSCEIVERS

Yaesu FTDX 5000 200 watts + TS 480 SAT 100 Watts dipole inv vee 40,80,160 m + and in litle future a 21 m high vertical for low bands

  + FB-DX  506 (5 el 6 bandes)

mobil station...

Vertical COMET SYSTEM monoband antennas HR28 ,HR40,and also a vertical bi-band 144/432 for repeaters.

for mobil and others activitys...iota,expéditions,castels...etc

yaesu FT 100D  100watts + verticale comet antenna +dipoles +R7

there is no amplifier

 MY RIG...

VHF/UHF TRANSCEIVERS

Yaesu FT 100 D 500 hz cw filter and DSP!
100w for 50 mhz
50W on 144MHz and 20 on 432mhz (for local  and repeater)

At this date, from my QRA,i listen to 10 repeaters approximatly, without any exceptional propagation.

It is not in my daily life to make qso with repeaters, but sometimes it's funny to work new stations from countys or departements around my position.

Also when i cross news places when i moved whith my mobil station,it's great to discovery new repeaters and new stations.

With my FT-100 D , the antenna is a vertical dual-band for mobile 144/432mhz.

The 5  elements yagi Tonna for the 50MHz is about 16m high  under the FB-DX 506.

I stop my diferents V/UHF activitys for the moment.

I just work on 6 M with my TS 480 SAT, and it give me a fantastic pleasure.

VIEW OF MY QTH...FROM THE TOP OF THE TOWER

OLD RIG...NEW RIG...

In 2003, a lots of friends  was here in my qra to give me a big hand to mount a heavy tower type 40cm side and 13.50 m high!
A full weekend work was executed brilliantly.
Antennas mounted at that time was a 3 elements fb33 (10,15,20 m) from FRITZEL system and a 17 elements long space for 144 MHz, and a 21 elements for 432 mhz, they are from TONNA system.
Since early 2009, I have made some big change ...!

After that the fb33 has become a fb506 dx,a delicate process who has taken some time.
This antena is now a 5 elements 6 bandes doing a good job on 10,12,15,17,20,and 30meters (additional kit of 2 elements for  the 3 warc bands)
Early 2011, after two weeks of work 15 and 18 meters high, I took the time to change the config.
the fb-dx 506 and  the 17 el 144 don't move
So I placed the 35 UHF elements for 1296 MHz on the top of the tower, and the 21 elements for 432 mhz just above.
The coaxial changed (

as had at least 21 years)by an ECO-FLEX 15 beethwen antenas to all low noise amplifiers and they do the loop after the rotor.

After the loop, the cable used is EUPEN 7/8"  to the station.
The height of my qth is about 167 meters  ASL , the antennas are about:

fb-dx 506 is at 14m up the ground --- 181 asl

17 el 144 at 15m up the ground --- 182 asl

21 el 432 at 16m up the ground --- 183 asl

35 el 1296 at 17m up the ground --- 184 asl

Of course a big THANKS  to my two friends, F5ZO Dominique and F5DQK Marcel, to have helped me , the first one to the 7/8" cable, and the second one to had controled and prooved my cables and all LNA....

I also discover in a small time, some qso in EME...some qso with USA and Russia

RIG IN STAND BY...

Actually,in the garden ,there's  a vertical aluminium antenna of 21 to 24 meters long (80M/160M), under the green for the moment.
